How Many Headsets Can I Pair Together for Intercom?

All Sena headsets can be paired together so that they can talk to each other over Bluetooth through the intercom. The number of headsets that each Sena headset can be paired and connected to for talking to each other at the same time over the intercom are different among the various headsets. Some headsets can be paired to multiple headsets but only communicate 1-to-1 while other headsets can pair up to multiple headsets and have an multi-way intercom conference. Here is a breakdown of how many headsets each Sena headset can be paired and connected to for talking over the intercom.

3S-B, 3S-W, 3S-WB

Can only pair with 1 other headset.

Can only connect with 1 other headset for talking over the intercom.

SMH5, SMH5-FM

SMH10, SMH10R, SPH10, SPH10-FM, Expand, Bluetooth Mic and Intercom, 10S, 10U, 10R, 10C, Tufftalk, Cavalry

Can be paired with up to 3 other headsets.

20S

Can be paired with up to 8 other headsets.

Can connect with up to 7 other headsets for talking over the intercom.

*Note:

All Sena headsets can be paired together for talking over the intercom but the number of headsets that can talk to each other at the same time depends on the maximum number that each headset allows and must match the lowest maximum. For instance, the 20S can connect to 7 other 20S headsets for a maximum number of 8 connected headsets. But, if the 20S is paired to a 10S then the maximum number of connected headsets changes because the 10S can only support a maximum of 4 connected headsets.
